This week sees the biggest local chart battle of the year as two of the hottest new Aussie acts Southbound and Darlinghurst battle it out for the top spot in the Countrytown Music Network Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart. Southbound have held the crown for the last few weeks but have been toppled by Darlinghurst's Unfaithful which has dethroned the reigning queens. With both bands gearing up for debut albums in the second half of the year, could this be country music's biggest battle of 2021?
Meanwhile, Jimmie Allen and Brad Paisley’s Freedom Was A Highway leaps into third – it’s highest ranking yet! Dan + Shay move down a spot into #4 with Glad You Exist, with Karma by Hayley Jensen and Nashville Indiana by O’Shea staying put at #5 and #6 for another week respectively.
Recently married man, Blake Shelton's Minimum Wage is in seventh, followed by Jordan Davis’ Lose You and These Days by Canada’s MacKenzie Porter, both of whom re-enter the top 10 after being nudged out last week. Casey Barnes manages to hold his position in the top 10, with his banger, Come Turn Me On.
