Introducing the latest single to be lifted from Hayley Jensen's ARIA #1 Country Album Breakin' Hearts released in October 2022. Four Boots was co-written with Canadian country acts Dan Davidson (with whom Jensen recently featured on the duet Really Shouldn't Drink Around You) and Clayton Bellamy (of Canadian trio, The Road Hammers) who also features as guest vocalist on this country-rock banger.
Jensen says, "Four Boots was written about one of those nights when you’re out with your friends after a breakup. You just want to have fun and enjoy yourself, you're not looking to hook up or find someone new, just to have a good time. Then out of the blue, someone catches your eye and they’re all you can think about… Your best-laid plans change, and somewhere between hello and good morning, you wake up with an extra pair of boots at the end of your bed!"
Off the back of a spectacular 2 years of chart topping success, Jensen was nominated as a finalist in the ‘2022 Golden Guitar Awards’ for ‘Female Artist of the Year’ and invited to perform as part of the official Australia Day LIVE Broadcast on ABC Television this year.
She has achieved multiple #1’s and Top 10’s radio hits with singles lifted from the Breakin’ Hearts album, including Karma, Just Gonna Party, Fireworks, Better Than That, Shake My Bones, and title track, which was the #1 Australian song (#2 overall) on the CountryTown radio airplay charts, as well as breaking through in the Top 100 Canadian Country radio charts.
2022 kicked off with a bang for Jensen, hitting the road to launch the Breakin’ Hearts album with a massive tour of full house shows across QLD, NSW, ACT and VIC. More touring and festivals fill the second half of the year for Jensen, including Country Rocks Festival, Deni Ute Muster, Lights on the Hill, Groundwater Country Music Festival, and many more.
