We’re still a while away from the 2025 Gympie Music Muster (August 2025), but festival organisers have revealed the stacked first artist announcement in the lead-up to Christmas.

Starring a huge range of Australian and international talent, punters might want to sit down for this one: Troy Cassar-Daley will return to Gympie for the 22nd time, with favourites including Fanny Lumsden, Thirsty Merc (performing at the Muster for the first time in 15 years), Andrew Swift, Darlinghurst, Kasey Chambers, The Wolfe Brothers, and many more booked to perform.

You can find the complete first artist announcement below.

Gympie Music Muster organisers have unveiled artists performing at next year’s event on social media, dropping an artist a day like a 12 Days Of Christmas program. The next artist announcement is set to drop on Boxing Day (26 December).

Canadian band The Road Hammers will perform at the Gympie Music Muster for the first time in 2025. Singer Jason McCoy said of the booking, “We’re pumped to play the Gympie Muster for our very first time in 2025—there's nothing like the energy of the Aussie crowd. We can't wait to share The Road Hammers’ sound with such an incredible festival.

“Gympie Muster has been on our bucket list for a long time, and we can’t wait to rock y’all in 2025! From my first trip in 1996, Australia has always felt like home, and I can’t wait to bring the Hammers to the Gympie Muster in 2025; this is going to be epic!”

Festival Program Director Bec Anderson commented on how thrilled the team is to deliver an announcement with Australian and Canadian talent, adding: “We’re particularly looking forward to welcoming back some artists who we haven’t seen gracing our stages in a while. We think this will be a bit of a nostalgic experience for our long-term Muster Mates but also something fresh for everyone.

“With more artists to come in the new year, this is just the beginning - the 2025 Muster is going to be a real celebration of exceptional live music.”

Gympie Music Muster CEO Greg Cavanagh said: “Next year’s Muster is shaping up to be one of our best yet.

“From legends of many genres to fresh new talent, we’re proud to bring together artists who reflect the diverse and vibrant spirit of country, rock and blues and genres in between. The Muster is more than a music festival; it’s a celebration of community, connection, and culture.”

Tickets to the 2025 Gympie Music Muster are available now. You can find tickets via the festival website.
