Gabby Barrett Reveals BIG Baby News On Mother’s Day!

Gabby Barrett had an extra special reason to celebrate Mother’s Day this year, revealing that she and husband, Cade Foehner are expecting their second child.

Posting a video of her sonogram on her socials over the weekend, the I Hope singer wrote, “My son. Another LIFE we get to love and cherish. Happy Mother’s Day!”

On Instagram, Foehner wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing, strong, and fruitful Bride! She is currently carrying another precious life made in the image of God. A son to bear our name into the next generation. Our children will rise up and call her blessed, this husband also, praises her. Proverbs 31:28 "Praise God from whom all blessings flow!”"

The couple, who met on season 16 of American Idol, got married in October 2019. They are already parents to a daughter, Baylah May, who was born on January 18, 2021.

Barrett told E! News last year, "Motherhood is definitely my top priority out of everything. [Baylah’s] just my whole entire world now and so I've just been trying to figure out that balance of having time and spending time with her, and being a hands-on [mum].”

The 22-year-old recently shared the new music video to her latest single, which co-stars Foehner as Barrett's love interest. Pick Me Up was one-of-four new tracks she released on the deluxe version of her Goldmine album, released in late 2021. The back road ballad captures one of “those” days that can only be cured with a long moonlit drive next to a special someone.

Barrett said, “I wrote Pick Me Up with Ross [Copperman] and Jon [Nite]. I didn’t really have a song in my repertoire that was laid-back-Country – a riding down the back roads while listening to George Strait-type of song. I had to pay homage to George Strait because I feel like I’m being adopted into the Texas family with my husband being from Texas.”
