Rising country music star Cody Pennington is bringing his unique brand of soulful storytelling and gritty vocals to Australia, kicking off the highly anticipated Australian leg of a 30-date headline tour around the globe in Perth on Friday, May 23, at Metro City.
With multiple dates already sold out, including Adelaide and Brisbane, and the others rapidly approaching capacity, Pennington’s momentum is undeniable as he continues his global breakout year.

Fresh off a sold-out European leg, Pennington’s journey through Australia will take him from coast to coast, with performances scheduled in Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle, and beyond. Fans can expect heartfelt renditions of originals like Whiskey’s Better, produced by Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Zach Bryan) and his latest single Make A Right, as well as some crowd favourite country covers.

The Nashville native and proudly independent artist has captured global attention with a story that’s as compelling as his music. Raised in a trailer park in East Nashville, Pennington’s musical journey began with secondhand guitars and a deep love for classic country. His passion only grew stronger during his time in the US Air Force, where he performed while stationed across Turkey, Greece, and the UK.
After Pennington wraps up his Australian leg, he will head to the UK next. Fans can expect a high-energy, emotionally charged setlist that blends Nashville grit with modern storytelling.
