Caroline Jones Is Pregnant With Her First Child

Caroline Jones is expecting with her first child with husband, professional sailor Nick Dana.

In a new social media video, Jones revealed she is currently at 19 weeks. In the clip, the glowing mother-to-be stands in a natural body of water and rubs her belly before hugging her husband.

You can hear Dana’s voice in the video say, “Baby’s first swim… in Tennessee.” He also jokingly wrote, "You're pregnant!!?" in the comments.

The couple married at the end of 2021. Sharing photos via social media, Jones wrote, “I said I would never get married, and I don’t like skiing (I did both for this picture). Which tells you everything you need to know about what a genuine inspiration Nick Dana is. God gathered every attribute I could ever want and need in a partner and alchemized them perfectly into this man who deserves everything good in this world. And I get to be the steward of his soul. What an honour.”

In November 2022, indie country-pop artist and multi-instrumentalist joined the Zac Brown Band as their first female band member.

Jones shared, “After 3 years as their opening act and 2 years touring in the band, I am honoured to announce that I’ll be joining the [Zac Brown Band] as an official member. Exciting (and busy!) times ahead as I perform and create with ZBB while continuing to build my own career. Thank you all for your support. Playing with ZBB makes me a better musician, vocalist, songwriter, performer, and human. I live for each of those things, and I am humbled that they believe I add to the outfit.”

“It feels like Caroline has been part of Zac Brown Band for years,” frontman Zac Brown said. “She has done a few tours with us and has also been in the recording studio creating with us. She is family and a badass musician. She sings the highest and works the hardest."

Back in March, we caught up with Jones at CMC Rocks QLD for an interview and a game of ‘Yeah Nah/Nah Yeah’, where she was performing solo as well as part of the Zac Brown Band.

Jones released her debut album, Bare Feet in 2018, six-track EP titled Chasin' Me in 2019 and album Antipodes in 2021. She toured with the likes of Jimmy Buffett, The Eagles, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, Kip Moore, Vince Gill, and Kenny Chesney, to name a few.

Her latest five-track EP, Superpower, was released on May 19 and features Vince Gill (By Way Of Sorrow) and Alyssa Bonagura (Keep It Safe). 

Jones told Hollywood Life, “My main goal is just to get music out now. [These five tracks] are a microcosm for the album in that it’s pretty sonically and stylistically diverse as all my records are.”

She continued, “Superpower is kind of Nora Jones-y, while Normal Person is super country, and Lawless is kind of pop country. By Way Of Sorrows is real bluegrass, and then the Alyssa Bonagura collaboration is very ’90s country. So, for me, the through line is that I write everything and co-produce everything and play on everything.”

She added, “I always say that it wouldn’t be a Caroline Jones project without a real sassy tongue in cheek song like that! Normal Person is just a funny song that I wrote to my husband about how sometimes… sometimes I feel guilty for being kind of difficult or I don’t know…a colourful character! But then I remember that he wanted to marry me!”
