The 2026 Countrytown Awards presented by Traveller Whiskey are officially in very good hands, with Aussie country favourites Brooke McClymont & Adam Eckersley announced as this year’s hosts.

The real life partners, collaborators and all-round crowd charmers are stepping into hosting duties for what’s set to be one of the biggest moments on the country music calendar. Known for their quick wit on stage and undeniable chemistry, the duo are expected to bring equal parts heart and humour to the 2026 ceremony.

“We promise to keep it moving and keep it fun,” McClymont laughed in a joint statement. “It’s such an honour to celebrate the artists and industry we love.’”

Eckersley added, “I told Brooke I’m only doing it if there’s a snack break built into the run sheet. But seriously, we’re stoked. Countrytown has become such a huge moment for Australian country music, and we can’t wait to be part of it in a different way this year.”

The announcement follows a massive 2025 event that saw our homegrown breakout and established stars take home big wins and remind everyone just how strong Australian country music is right now.

Last year’s winners included James Johnston, Kaylee Bell, The Wolfe Brothers, Lane Pittman, Wade Forster, John Williamson, Lainey Wilson and Keith Urban. The Countrytown Awards are a completely fan voted award show; voting for the 2026 Awards is open until March 1st, so there’s still time to get your votes in and choose who takes home a trophy in 2026.

Now with Brooke & Adam at the helm, 2026 is shaping up to lean into that same energy where anything could happen… and probably will. They’ve built a loyal fanbase through relentless touring, authentic songwriting and an ability to connect beyond the stage. And that relatability is exactly what makes them the obvious (and slightly dangerous) choice to guide the night.

Expect big wins, emotional speeches, a few playful jabs, and plenty of unscripted moments.

One thing’s for sure, the 2026 Countrytown Awards just got a whole lot more unhinged.

Voting for the 2026 Countrytown Awards closes 5pm AEDT on Sunday March 1st. Cast your vote now at countrytown.com/awards
