A diverse bunch of Australian artists have joined forces for a good cause, lending their music to support the country’s first responders.
The album, entitled We See You, features songs for first responders by The Wiggles (Volunteer Firefighter), alt-rock band Luca Brasi (Rose Of No Man’s Land), country icons Shane Nicholson (Ghosts) and Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham (No One Needs To Hurt Alone), Elly-May Barnes (If Your Daddy Makes It Home Tonight), Little Quirks (Amelia’s Song), and more. The album cover was designed by Reg Mombassa.
As Felicity Urquhart and Josh Cunningham revealed on their Facebook page, a portion of the album’s sales will go to Fortem Australia, a not-for-profit organisation that supports the mental health and well-being of first responders’ families.
We See You was produced by Paul Field AM, whose band, The Field Brothers, features on the album. He said about the release, “The album title, We See You, is to acknowledge all the people who do extraordinary jobs every day and the families who stand behind them. Music can uplift, inspire, and heal. I know this album will do all of these things.”
Fortem Australia CEO Mick Willing APM added, “Our first responders are there when we need them the most, and the fact that these absolute legends of Australian music have grouped together to not only recognise the work they do but to also support the work that Fortem Australia does in supporting our first responders is truly humbling. I commend Paul and each of the artists who have contributed to this remarkable album.”
We See You is out today via ABC Music. Show your support by listening to the album through your preferred streaming service here. You can also check out a trailer in support of the album below.

In a powerful post about their contribution to the album, The Wiggles stated, “We’ve contributed ‘Volunteer Firefighter’, a song dedicated to those heroic helpers who drop everything and jump into action when crisis hits.”
Luca Brasi added, “We See You – a heartfelt tribute to Australia’s 370,000 first responders. Join me in thanking our heroes who show up in our darkest moments.
“The album is out now—give it a listen, and I’ve added the link so you can leave a message of gratitude. Our lives would be very different without them - this one is for the nurses who we owe everything to; we see you, we love you.”
Felicity Urquhart and Josh Cunningham said they are “so honoured” to feature on such an “important project to support our first responders.”
