Wheelhouse Agency, Australia's largest Americana and country music booking company, has launched a new live music series called Country Crush.
Organised in partnership with Metro Social, the music venue in Sydney, four of Wheelhouse’s rising stars – Hayley Jensen, The Wet Whistles, Taylor Moss, and The Buckleys – will perform free shows at Metro Social across Wednesdays in November, providing a country music rush in metropolitan Sydney.
You can find the dates for the performances below and information about entry to the shows here.
In addition to the announcement of Country Crush, Wheelhouse has welcomed Katie Rynne as its new Head of Agency and Senior Agent.
With 13 years of experience, Rynne has joined Wheelhouse after stints at Select Music and Village Sounds. She is also the current music co-programmer for BIGSOUND.
Rynne said of Country Crush and joining Wheelhouse Agency, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be working in the country music space and bringing my agency expertise over to a roster of incredibly talented young artists.

“Whilst country music has always had a deeply dedicated and thriving fanbase, it has been overlooked and underestimated by the wider music industry for too long, and I’m really excited to help develop Wheelhouse Agency artists into some of the country’s most successful live touring acts.
“Country Crush hopes to be the first of many events curated by Wheelhouse Agency to connect country music fans to the next generation of Australian country music stars.”
The launch of Country Crush follows last week’s ARIA Award nominations, which saw three out of five nominees for Best Country Album – Casey Barnes, Henry Wagons, and Tori Forsyth – represented by Wheelhouse.
The agency was launched just over a year ago and is home to a roster of 20 artists, including this year’s Australian Idol winner Dylan Wright, this year’s Toyota Star Maker winner Wade Forster, breakout singer Lane Pittman, and more.
Wheelhouse artists have gone on to share stages with Luke Combs, Tyler Hubbard, Riley Green, and others, as well as score slots on festivals like CMC Rocks, Groundwater Country Music Festival, Ridin’ Hearts, Savannah In The Round, Howlin’ Country, and Meatstock.
