I OH YOU and MG Live share news that all-female Irish trad supergroup BIIRD will be performing at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on January 28th 2026. Recently announced as special guests on Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour across Australia and New Zealand in early 2026, supporting him on the New Zealand and Perth stadium dates.

BIIRD are breathing wild new life into the country’s oldest sounds, as heard on ‘The Rollover’. Formed in 2024, the collective have been mystifying the masses with their lively, zealous set and uncompromising dedication to Irish design since their inception. Born out of their shared passion for keeping Irish music alive, embracing the tradition while giving it a new look and keeping fans on their toes.

After a standout debut on legendary Irish chat show The Late Late Show which resulted in a sold-out Irish and UK tour – including a main-stage set at festival All Together Now in front of 15,000 fans – BIIRD are all set for a 2026 world tour. A celebration of tradition and reinvention, BIIRD fuse fiddle, harp, concertina and synth into something fearless and new – a sound in full, electrifying flight.
