Brisbane country music group The Wet Whistles recently released their third single, Do A Little Damage, and the music video is exclusively premiering on Countrytown today.

The music video finds all four members of the band – Jordan Hill, Jake Hill, Caillin Malley, and Nick Trovas bothering an Uber driver with their enthusiastic performance in the car, singing karaoke at a function, performing on the street (without permission and getting kicked out) before taking to the stage at the Lefty’s Music Hall.

Directed by Matteo Grasso, the music video for Do A Little Damage was shot in and around the band’s hometown of inner city Brisbane. The clip managed to include all the band’s favourite venues for causing (a little) mayhem, including Fortitude Valley, Caxton Street and the band’s unofficial HQ, Lefty’s.

As for the song itself, Do A Little Damage is all about having a raucously good time with your mates. The band trade harmonies and verses and bring out the harmonica for a feel-good country tune.

The band said about the video, “We saw the Do A Little Damage video clip as a chance to show what really drives us as a band. The Wet Whistles are four Brissie blokes who love to sing country tunes, love to drink and love to carry on… and WE WON’T BE STOPPED!

“We had a lot of fun filming the clip around our beloved Brisbane, and our Videographer Matteo did a brilliant job playing our super stressed out Ride Share driver. Of course, the clip had to end with a triumphant performance at the guys’ so-called ‘Band HQ’ Lefty’s, our happy place.”
