VIDEO PREMIERE: Taylor Moss ‘The One’

Taylor Moss is breathing new life into her acclaimed debut with Firecracker (Reignited), out tomorrow the 19th of June. This reimagined release features six exclusive bonus tracks, leading the pack is the powerful new single The One, a stirring true story of betrayal, resilience, and female solidarity.

The music video takes a stripped-back approach, allowing Moss’s storytelling to take centre stage. Its striking black-and-white visuals mirror the aesthetic of the Firecracker Reignited album, creating a cohesive and emotionally resonant and strong artistic vision across both the music and its visual counterpart.

Originally debuting at #7 on the ARIA Australian Albums Chart and earning major award nominations, Firecracker established Moss as a rising force in Australian country music. Now, Firecracker (Reignited) expands on that legacy with unreleased material, acoustic renditions, a collaboration with Robbie Mortimer, and a limited-edition double coloured vinyl for collectors.

The One is the emotional centrepiece of the project. Drawing from real-life heartbreak, Moss weaves the narrative about discovering a partner’s double life and finding unexpected strength through unity with the other woman. “We were both victims of the same lies,” she says. “Instead of turning on each other, we chose to walk away together.”

Sonically rooted in Taylor’s country-pop style, The One highlights her evolution as both a storyteller and vocalist.

To celebrate the release, Moss will embark on the Firecracker Reignited Experience Tour in July. The stripped-back shows promise an intimate look into her songwriting process and the stories behind the music, offering a rare opportunity for fans to experience her work up close.
