Here’s a wrap up of all the new releases in country world!

As well as our Artist of the Week, Felicity Kircher (who we currently have on repeat mind you), there’s been a tonne of new music released in the past two weeks. And sadly, there’s just not enough hours in the day to feature it all but there’s a handful of artists we’re still keen to share! From Lainey Wilson to Melody Moko, Dierks Bentley and Elle King, Morgan Wallen to Katrina Burgoyne and so many more, here’s a wrap up of all the new releases in country world!

Dierks Bentley and Elle King have teamed on the new track, Worth A Shot – and its 18th century Western style music video. Written by Ross Copperman and Shane McAnally, Bentley had cut the track individually first, but then gave it to King, who then suggested they turn it into a duet.

Singer-songwriter, Melody Moko has dropped the eighth and final single off her highly acclaimed second album, Two Kids And A Radio. Save Me Rock N’ Roll tells the story of a musician, who constantly feels they are falling short regardless of working themself to the bone.

The very definition of a total banger is Joe HermesWhiskey Fixer Upper. Inspired by a personal mantra of the harder you work, the luckier you get, the track is an American blue-collar anthem, geared to lift the spirits of hard-working men and women everywhere.

Lainey Wilson has delivered with Heart Like A Truck. Written with self-awareness and clever metaphors, the semi-autobiographical and strong song was produced by Jay Joyce and written by Wilson, Trannie Anderson and Dallas Wilson. It's the first single off Wilson’s next album.

Mike Carr’s second single, Stupid Old Guitar, explores the relationship we have to things, the memories and the emotions they invoke. The song was inspired by his impending move to Tasmania when the decision was made to only take the things he used.

Katy Hurt explores the journey to acceptance of her complicated relationship to music in her latest single, Wish I Could Give You Up. With relatable lyrics like, “I don’t need your advice because my vice is something I can’t change” it is a song many people can connect to.

I Wanna Get Away With You shares the story of Katrina Burgoyne falling in love with her husband quicker than expected. She says, “We dated for three weeks before I flew home to Australia. Two months later, he arrived in my small town to ask me to be his girlfriend. It’s about feeling lucky in love and getting away with steeling someone’s heart.”

Melbourne-based songwriter Amanduh has made her fully formed debut with Old Flame, an edgy, sizzling track that takes the power back after a toxic relationship. The video sees her perform the song in wide open spaces, relishing in her freedom, and embracing the future.

Off her upcoming album, god’s work, LeAnn Rimes has released new track, the only. Written and produced by Rimes and Darrell Brown, the only is a welcomed feel-good, World Americana-Reggae blended track about the importance of being there for each other and helping others out.

Caitlin Quisenberry’s Last Day On Earth is the theme song for the non-profit organization, Postpone Nothing. Inspired by the life motto and words of Nancy Butler, the emotional single encourages listeners to live life to the fullest and postpone nothing.

Released on his 29th birthday, Morgan Wallen has dropped the previously unreleased track, You Proof. Written by Wallen with Ashley Gorley, ERNEST, Keith Smith, and Charlie Handsome, lyrically, You Proof is about trying to forget an ex at the bottom of a bottle.

Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line has launched his solo career with the release of his debut single, 5 Foot 9. For his as-yet-untitled record, Hubbard has collaborated with renowned Nashville hitmakers, as well as Keith Urban and Thomas Rhett, among others.

Carrie Underwood has dropped the track She Don’t Know from her upcoming album Denim & Rhinestones. Co-produced with David Garcia, with whom she co-produced her 2021's My Savior and 2018's Cry Pretty, Denim & Rhinestones features 12 tracks, including Ghost Story.

On the heels of Catie Offerman’s debut track Happyland Trailer Park, which has 2.3m streams to date, Don’t Do It In Texas was written with Nicolle Gaylon and Ryan Beaver during COVID in May 2020 via zoom, while Offerman was in Texas. As a proud Texan, being at home sparked the idea.

Mustang by rising Australian alt-country singer-songwriter, Josie Laver is a cheeky story about not feeling the desire to be chased by others, but still being pursued. Mustang is off Laver's forthcoming debut album, produced and co-written by Melbourne-based artist Matt Joe Gow.

Arlo McKinley delivers another brazen taste of rust belt rock and roll, with the release of rousing new single To Die For – the latest preview of his forthcoming album, This Mess We’re In. Written in the wake of his mother’s passing, the loss of his best friend and multiple others, This Mess We're In served as the main source of comfort for McKinley, allowing him to take a long look inward and reorient himself in a new, uncertain world.

Singer-songwriter, Bella Mackenzie has released her new single Miss You No More. Putting an empowering twist on a breakup song, Miss You No More is an uptempo, feel good country pop song that reflects shutting the door on a relationship that you no longer want in your life.
