Country-pop and folk artist, Woody Pitney has unveiled his latest single, End Of The Day, co-produced and mixed by Austin Moorhead, Eddy Barbour and Woody himself.

Taking cues from the likes of Morgan Evans, Casey Barnes and Keith Urban, End Of The Day is an infectious and feel-good country-fusion offering, shining a light on Woody's ability to hone and craft songs within the genre, while simultaneously ensuring accessibility for the wider masses.

Woody says, “End Of The Day is an upbeat country song about being drunk on love and liquor! The song encapsulates the sentiment that no matter how crazy, wild or difficult your day might be, all that matters is having the one you love beside you at the end of the day."

The accompanying music video was shot and directed across Regional Victoria by Liam Gordes and Dylan Hornsby (Good Gravy Media), which largely features Woody performing against the backdrop of the stunning and picturesque locations, that the region has to offer.

To coincide with the release, Woody will perform at The Leadbeater Hotel, Melbourne on June 17 and at The Chippo Hotel, Sydney on July 22. In the live arena, Woody has previously shared stages with the likes of Vance Joy, The Drums, Reece Mastin and The Paper Kites, and sold-out headline shows all around Melbourne. He's also performed at festivals and toured extensively overseas across Europe, Asia and the USA.

With a career spanning more than a decade, Woody is already an established name in the world of music. Having previously been signed to a major label after his song You Can Stay was synced on a major German TV commercial, Woody was thrust into a world of big-scale live performances, media appearances and developing international business relations.

Nowadays, fully independent again, Woody’s focus is to make big waves on the Australian Country Music scene. He has been working on new music between his home studio in country Victoria and Nashville-based producer Austin Moorhead’s Tennessee studio.

A vivacious live performer, Woody is known for putting on highly engaging performances (not excluding stage dives and a lot of audience interaction) and has the ability to command the attention of a crowd whether he’s performing solo, or with his full band.

With an eclectic list of key influences, including Keith Urban, The War on Drugs, Elvis Presley and Powderfinger, Woody’s musical appreciation transcends across generations and spreads across the entire spectrum of popular music. Inspiration that filters through into his creative process.
