The latest track from Fahim is laced with catchy hooks and a message that hits home and reminds listeners to embrace their truth unapologetically. It’s no surprise Who You Are is already striking a chord with fans and radio alike.

To celebrate the release, Fahim’s giving Countrytown a sneak peek behind the curtain, with an exclusive image gallery from the making of the music video.

The hair and makeup prep was kind of funny for this shoot as started in my hotel room on the Vegas strip (standard)... then ended up literally in the middle of nowhere with the extreme heat and sun - we had to improvise. Umbrellas with UV protection were a MUST… and times we could, we would sit in the car taking full advantage of its air conditioner.

I don’t know much about cars… but I was pretty chuffed to be told I was going to drive this hot set of wheels! A classic Buick Skylark (had to google it… don’t judge pls). We were supposed to have it in white for the shoot, but at the last minute we were given the red one. The red looks SO good! What a blessing in disguise.

As much as I was prepared to drive a manual - thankfully it was an auto. Unfortunately, no power steering though - which was a really interesting experience trying to focus on my singing and emotion of my performance, and not the emotion of my struggle to turn the wheel.

Watching the sun set in the Nevada desert was stunning. One of the best parts of the shoot but once that sun went down it was freezing. This dress was not made for colder weather, it was basically see through. Worth it though… every second, and every goosebump.

This motel was right up my alley. We didn’t stay here but I totally would’ve! We came back and did most of the shots here after dark but I’m happy I got to see the cacti (my fave) during the day :) :)

I love this shot - it captures the loud silence of the empty desert.

One of my favourite sounds is that satisfying crunch when my boots hit the dirt and that’s what I hear when I look at this photo. The moments of peace and quiet in between the chaos of the day was the perfect blend.

I was told to just stare off into the distance and look lost in thought, so I did - and in that moment, I really took it all in.

I was thinking about how wild it is that my music brought me all the way to Las Vegas, and just how grateful I felt to be standing there.

Kinda deep, but I’m keeping it real!
