To celebrate the release of 'Directions,' Piper Butcher has broken down the EP, track by track.

Country acts Denvah, Tori Darke, Piper Butcher and more share their sound, hometown pride, and festival picks ahead of BIGSOUND 2026.

“It was such a confronting part of the process to realise, while I was singing and tracking, that this song that I wrote was actually about me trusting myself"

Piper Butcher channels the big emotions behind her new song “Hard Love” into a three-course meal for someone she loves - halloumi fries, classic steak, and sticky date pudding, all made with heart (and a little MasterChef flair!)

Rising Newcastle artist Piper Butcher has released a new single and music video for “Start of Something”, the title track from Piper’s second EP.
