Monique La Terra is a Melbourne-based writer with over nine years of experience, primarily in freelance positions, including two years as Director of Culture at Culture Trip. In early 2021, Monique’s short story Pink Elephant was shortlisted for the Microflix Writing Award, and in December 2021, her manuscript advanced to the second round of the 2022 Launch Pad Prose Competition. Monique listens to an array of music but is most passionate about classic rock. Her favourite artists include Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Green Day, and KISS. When writing concert reviews, Monique enjoys the art of observation and likes to seek out blink-and-you’ll-miss-them moments.
