Countrytown is thrilled to bring you the music video for Just Like That by Gold Coast singer-songwriter, Rae Leigh ahead of its official release tomorrow in this exclusive premiere.

Self-penned by Rae, Just Like That shines a light on the power struggle that occurs in gaslighting and emotional abuse within a relationship and has a powerful happy ending of a woman creating a life that she is in control of and driving into the sunset of her dreams. The track is an inspirational message for women to create their own destiny and take their power into their own hands.

JMC Academy and Logan City awarded Rae a $10k prize for Just Like That and worked on the production and music video over the past year to get it ready for release.

Rae started on piano, followed by vocal lessons, drums, and guitar at the age of six. She grew up with Christian and pop influences before being embraced by country music at a songwriting retreat in 2015 with Allan Caswell, Lachlan Bryan, Karl Broadie and Aleyce Simmonds. Her vocal inspirations and tone could be described as a mix of Amy Winehouse, Beyonce, and Sandi Thom.
