Fresh off the back of her ARIA Best Country Album win, Fanny Lumsden has released her latest single Dig, and its our Song Of The Day.
Lifted from her ARIA award winning album 'Fallow', Dig is another melodic ear-worm perfect for the summer ahead of us. Its got a killer, upbeat chorus and a positive message.
“Dig came out of a time where I was finding the line between gritting your teeth, digging deeper on something and letting it go of the things we can’t control, a moving target that has only become more relevant as 2019 turned to 2020 and 2020 has worn on. It’s ultimately about finding the joy where you can, and it always peps me up especially when the brass come in!” Said Fanny.
Produced by Matt Fell in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales, Dig features Benjamin Corbett on electric guits and keys, Dan Stanley Freeman on Bass, Thomas Lumsden on backing vocals and Fanny on acoustic guitars, vocals and harmonies, with brass work done by James Greening.
