Dan + ShayDan + Shay have delivered a bittersweet message that speaks to the heart of the 2020 Christmas period in their latest single Christmas Isn't Christmas and its accompanying music video.
In the song and the video, the duo mourn for a normal Christmas leading into a holiday season that is marred by everything that is 2020. The video was directed by longtime collaborator Patrick Tracy.
"This song is very close to our hearts. It was inspired by our families, and all the loved ones in our lives that make the holiday season special. This year has been tough on us all, and not being able to connect with others (especially our fans) in person has really taken an emotional toll. But, out of darkness always comes light, and we feel music has a magical way of bringing us together, even when we are far apart." Said the duo.
Dan + Shay are riding high at the moment following string of award wins including three at the American Music awards, a particularly special win was the all-genre Collaboration Of The Year, as well as huge success at both the CMA and ACM awards.
