"My songs will be released regardless if I want them to be or not according to this morning..."

Zach Bryan has claimed that Dead Or Grown, an older song that appeared on Apple Music on Sunday (3 September), was uploaded to the streaming service without his permission. At the time of writing, the track is no longer on Apple Music.
Bryan recently released his new, self-titled album (25 August), and while he’s recently teased the release of more singles in the coming months, this one apparently wasn’t on him.
“I did not release a single today lol, terrible people keep taking my old recordings and releasing them for profits on streaming and listens,” the Something In The Orange singer tweeted on Sunday morning.
Continuing to air his disappointment, Bryan added, “The people of this world just keep getting better in my eyes hahaha”. After a fan insisted that Bryan “release one in retaliation” and another asked for Deep Satin or Somebody, the singer responded, “I will never release somebody. That is a cringey song (vocally) I wrote when I was 17 years old that I wish now I would have never recorded.
“I hope one day people stop asking me because it’s ten years later man”.

Minutes later, Bryan wrote that while thinking about his music, “If there is an unreleased song, I intentionally made that decision, everyone that tweets and DM’s asking me to release songs I wrote when I was 18 just make releasing music ten times harder.”
To make matters worse, Bryan feels that “My songs will be released regardless if I want them to be or not according to this morning hahahaha”.
By the time Monday rolled around, Bryan hadn’t tweeted about Dead Or Grown allegedly appearing on streaming services without his permission again. The singer re-posted a tweet from Chart Data revealing that his fourth album, the self-titled effort, had hit #1 on the Billboard 200. Bryan called 2023 “an unbelievable year” and told his fans he loves and appreciates them.

Explaining his new album in a personal statement, Bryan said: “I've got no grand explanation for these songs, I got no riddle in reasoning behind writing them, I don't have a bullshit roll-out plan to stuff it in front of as many people as I can. I just wrote some poems and songs that I want to share because I think they’re special.
“Some of them are heavy, some of them are hopeful, but more than anything what's most important to me is that they're all mine. If people listen to it, I'll be grateful, if people don't, I'll still be grateful because I got the chance in this life to be original when it mattered.”
