Ella LangleyElla Langley has paid tribute to one of her idols, Shania Twain, and her eternal hit, 1998’s You’re Still The One.
Posting a cover of the song on TikTok, the breakout star sings the track with heartbreaking, earnest beauty and plays the piano. She displays vulnerability when delivering the lyrics, offering a devastating twist to lyrics like “We’re still together, still going strong.”
Langley captioned the clip, “I’ll never get over this song.” The stunning, emotional cover also caught the attention of Twain herself, who commented on her protégé’s TikTok, “So flattered ❤️Loved getting to connect at ACMs xx.”

As Rolling Stone notes, You’re Still The One has experienced a resurgence of late, with current pop and indie stars bringing it back into the mainstream. Artists such as Harry Styles, boygenius, and Christian Lee Hutson have all put their own spin on the track, all displaying the sentimentality heard in the original.
Ella Langley’s latest album, Dandelion, was released in April. The follow-up to her 2024 debut, Hungover, was produced by Langley, Miranda Lambert, and Ben West and debuted atop the Billboard 200.
