As Winton, Queensland local Wade Forster continues to take over the country world, the rising star has announced a run of homecoming dates as part of his globetrotting The Dying Breed Tour.
Forster – who just this month signed a new deal with UNIFIED Artist Management – is right in the middle of a purple patch, having released a run of stellar singles in recent months. Alongside the likes of One Night Stand in June and Last Of A Dying Breed only a few weeks ago, Forster is now closing out the month with nascent track Take That Buckle Home.
Described as a heartfelt tribute to a fellow cowboy chasing his dreams, it’s an affecting piece of work that captures the immense grit and pride that underscores Forster’s signature sound.
“I wrote this song about my mate Travis who is killing it over in the States rodeoing at the moment,” he explained. “All of us Australian cowboys and cowgirls can't wait for him to go to the NFR one day.
“This song is a testament to his determination and dedication to his craft.”
Alongside the release of the single, Forster has also unveiled a run of local tour dates. Launching his The Dying Breed Tour on August 30th with an appearance at the Gympie Ute Muster, he’ll be kept busy with an impressive batch of US shows throughout September before he heads home to visit the local crowd.

Forster will be performing up and down the eastern half of the country throughout October and November, with dates in Queensland, Tasmania, New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia.
After wrapping things up with a Sydney date on November 28th, he'll take a bit of a breather before hitting up Tamworth on January 19th to kick off the new year.
Tickets to Forster’s Australian tour are on sale now, with a new album hopefully set to arrive at some point in the near future.
