Vixens Of Fall have released their crowd-funded debut album, Magick In The Chaos

The sister trio said, “Magick in the Chaos has been a LONG time coming! Through these past few years of exploring and immersing ourselves in what we wanted to build into this record, both sonically and thematically, we have arrived to this moment feeling ready to cast our spell on the world and offer up the FULL Vixens of Fall experience.”

The album delivers fan favourites with existing chart-smashing singles such as The Long Game and Break it Easy, as well as 5 brand new tracks, that the sisters say build an even richer tapestry than what fans might be expecting based on what the girls are known for.

“We are so proud of what these unheard tracks will give to our fans. We dig deep, let us tell ‘ya! There’s personal stories of real-deal heartache and a failed love spell in That Spells Gone through to being able to celebrate this unparalleled bond that we share as sisters, through the thick and thin of it all in Sisterhood.”

Written with the spellbinding ingredients that is the enigmatic writing team of the Vixens of Fall, Rod McCormack (recorded and produced - The Music Cellar), Templeton Thompson and Sam Gay, the lead track, That Spells Gone is a love spell gone awry.

“Everyone wants to be enchanted and feel a sense of fairy tale whimsy; so, when you meet a person who makes your heart flutter... you want to do everything in your witchy western powers to make it happen," Vixens of Fall add. "But there are always sacrifices that need to be made and it may very well be heartbreak."

The record, sonically, has strong roots in country rock, with plenty of whimsy and feminine energy accenting the overall sound throughout. Produced by the Vixens long-time producer Rod McCormack, and the album features co-writes with the likes of Gina Jeffreys, Sam Gay, Templeton Thompson and Max Jackson

The record is a fully realised, solid stock-take on contemporary country, guided by a team of some of Australia and Nashville’s most experienced, capable, and compelling professionals. Thematically, the record draws upon witchy-western aesthetics that are true to the sisters’ stylistic inspiration, creating moments of dark brooding weight, through sparkly effervescent light; black or white magic where the moment calls for it, and plenty of chaos, fun and energy to boot.

Though this project will be their debut in terms of an album release, the Vixens have already enjoyed a strong start to their music careers, garnering multiple #1 Apple Music Country charting positions, frequent rotation on CMT, a finalist nomination for the Queensland Music Awards, and the title of ICMAA’s ‘Most Popular Independent Country Band’ in 2023, with another nomination for 2024.

They are lined up to perform on the bill for the 2023 Gympie Music Muster, following on from a successful showcase last year which even saw Beccy Cole invite the sisters Main Stage to perform alongside her.

The Vixens will be supporting the release of Magick in the Chaos with a Queensland wide tour May through July. For information and tickets, head to vixensoffall.com
