The chart-topping newcomer builds on his breakout year with deeply personal debut album arriving April 25.
Tucker Wetmore (Tanner Johnson)
As anticipation hits an all-time high, country’s rising star Tucker Wetmore has officially revealed the full track list for his debut album What Not To, landing on Friday, April 25. Produced by Chris LaCorte, the 19-song project is a deeply personal ride through Wetmore’s first 25 years of life; showcasing full of stories, struggles, and the lessons that have shaped him into one of the most exciting new voices in country music.
Wetmore co-wrote 11 tracks on the album, including fan favourite Drinkin’ Boots and his current viral banger Brunette. The project connects like a storyline, or in Wetmore’s words, “like red yarn connecting a bunch of pins on a wall.” The heart of it all? The title track, What Not To, a raw, emotional anthem about grace, grit, and holding on: “Momma said you don’t pray no more / breaks my heart, so I do it for you.”
Just ahead of release, Wetmore dropped one last teaser: Casino, a smooth, neon-drenched track praised by fans and industry. It follows his first country radio #1 hit, Wind Up Missin’ You, and his current single 3,2,1, which currently sits at #6 on this week’s Countrytown Hot 50 Chart and is quickly gaining momentum.
After a sold-out spring run in Europe and a wave of “Artist to Watch” nods from Spotify, Billboard, VEVO, and more, Wetmore will stay on the move with his Waves on a Sunset Tour, then join Thomas Rhett this summer for 33 shows on the Better in Boots Tour.
Dropping during the renowned Stagecoach festival weekend in Indio, CA, What Not To marks a major new chapter and proves that Tucker Wetmore’s just getting warmed up. See the full track list below.
