Eight-time Golden Guitar award winner, Travis Collins will celebrate the release of his eighth studio album, Any Less Anymore with the massive Any Less Anymore National Tour.

Kicking off on Friday, June 2, the tour will include fourteen headline shows plus festival appearances throughout New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.

The tour announcement follows on the heels of a blistering main stage set at the iconic CMC Rocks QLD festival in March, regarded by many as one of the standouts of the festival. The accolade for his live performances is nothing new and Collins has long led the charge of Australian country music with his soulful vocals and unique gift for piloting both sophisticated, heartfelt ballads and supercharged country-rock bangers.

Collins says, “While I can’t be more excited to get the album out into the world, it’s performing the songs live and connecting with the audiences that makes the hard work worthwhile. We can’t wait to get out on the road and deliver these new songs plus all the hits and a few surprises. It’s going to be a massive party!”

Collins will be joined on all east coast headline shows by rising Southern Highlands based singer-songwriter, Sara Berki and on the Western Australian headline shows by 2023 Toyota Star Maker finalist, Claudia Tripp.

In addition to the Golden Guitar awards, Collins is a four-time CMC Award winner, CMA Global Artist Award recipient, two-time ARIA Award nominee and he toured alongside US megastars Tim McGraw and Luke Combs and written and recorded with Nashville’s best and brightest. With the release of his eighth studio album in 2023, Collins cements his reputation and place as a mainstage fixture at Australia’s peak country music festivals and routinely plays to sold-out crowds across the country.

Any Less Anymore will be released on June 2nd. Working with Stuart Stuart, Collins collaborated with songwriters from around the globe including The Wolfe Brothers and Lindsay Ell. The album features the already released singles, One Of Them Nights, Just The Way and the title track.

Collins explains, “Any Less Anymore is about making the most of each day, learning to appreciate yourself, family, and the moment. Mostly, it’s about growing up, learning who you are and dare I admit, maybe even becoming mature.

“Over the past couple of years, we’ve all had life changed or disrupted in some way, professionally or personally. It was both for me. Like most in the music business, it was a major sidelining and ‘time out’ for who I was, and what I do. Initially, that was terrifying. However, as we went further forward, I tried to embrace change, and I learned it wasn’t all bad.

“For the first time in my adult life, I had to learn be still. Calm. In one place. Which was tough for a guy whose wife calls him ‘Jet Stream’. Turns out it was the reset and break I didn’t even know I needed. Physically, mentally, emotionally.

“Until 2020, my life was dedicated to one thing only, so when I couldn’t do or ‘be’ that, I began looking within and asking myself “who am I, now?” This album is kind of my journal of that period, the thoughts I had, feelings I felt, and lessons I learned.

“The following year and a half became some of the best times of my life so far... Despite losing what I’d always thought was the cornerstone of my identity, I felt like I got to see the first real glimpses of my true self... Husband, Father, Neighbour, Brother, Friend, Son. The real stuff.

“There’s a lot on this record about ‘perspective’. That’s what the past two years have been about, and what my path forward is about. It’s surreal to say, but I’m grateful for the past two years, and I’m proud of these songs about that time in my life.”

Tickets for Collins’ ‘Any Less Anymore’ tour go on sale Thursday, April 13 at 9am. For more information and to pre-save the album, head to traviscollins.com.au.
