The show is set for Friday, November 4 at the Exchange Hotel.
Travis Collins has announced a co-headlining show with Canadian platinum and award-winning artist, Dan Davidson, with special guest Chelsea Berman. Set for November 4 at the Exchange Hotel, the show will see the country superstars come together for one exhilarating night.
Davidson will perform at the Groundwater Country Music Festival the weekend prior, before heading to Newcastle followed by Sunset Sounds Festival in southwestern Sydney on Saturday, November 5. It will also mark his first time in Australia.
Davidson says, “Touring in Australia has been on my bucket list ever since I was a kid! I cannot wait for my first ever tour Down Under! Australian fans have been so kind to me, I’m going to be bringing my “A” game to give my new friends Down Under, the best tour/show of my life!”
Davidson has created undeniable momentum in the last few years. After getting his start in indie rock band Tupelo Honey, Davidson made the move to country in 2014 with the release of his debut solo single, Unkiss Her the following year. His EP’s Songs For Georgia and the award-winning Juliet followed. In total, he has since scored 6 CCMA nominations, 10 ACMA awards, a gold record and a #1 selling Canadian song and record.
He previously teamed up with Canadian trio, The Road Hammers on Roll With It, which peaked at #11 on the Countrytown Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart as well as with Hayley Jensen on his second Australian release, Really Shouldn’t Drink Around You.

Collins has fast established himself as a leading light in Australian country music. Nine studio albums later, Collins is a regular mainstage fixture at Australia’s peak country music festivals and routinely plays to sold-out crowds across the country.
Collins adds, “It’s been a long time since we’ve played Newcastle, and I couldn’t be more pumped for this show. Dan Davidson is amazing, and we’ll both be doing our best to blow the roof off. It’ll be a night to remember, for sure.”
His current single, One Of Them Nights is quickly racing up the Countrytown Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart, and so far has peaked at #8. One Of Them Nights is the first track lifted from his forthcoming studio album, due in 2023.
The album follows his 2020 release, Wreck Me, which took out the #1 spot on the ARIA Country Albums Chart, debuting in the top 10 of the ARIA Albums Chart, and landing at #4 on the iTunes Australian Albums Chart. Wreck Me also landed Collins his second ARIA Award nomination for ‘Best Country Album’, and spawned Wreck Me: Acoustic Sessions, released later that year.
In addition to the live show, there’s rumour of a single together, with more to be revealed on that very soon. Tickets are on sale now at theexchangehotel.com.au
