Toyota Park & Toyota FanZone Lineups Unveiled For 2026 TCMF

The Tamworth Country Music Festival reveals packed schedules for its two biggest free stages, featuring hundreds of artists and daily performances across 10 festival days.

Just weeks out from the 2026 Tamworth Country Music Festival, Tamworth Regional Council have announced the lineups for Toyota Park and Toyota FanZone. 

Toyota Park will once again deliver 10 nights of free themed concerts at 7pm, including the Opening Concert on 16 January featuring 2025 Golden Guitar winners Zac & George, Ashleigh Dallas, Brendan Radford & Lindsay Waddington, Kristy Cox, Luke O’Shea, Felicity Kircher and more. 

Meanwhile, Toyota FanZone - set in the heart of Peel Street - will showcase over 240 artists from 9am daily, offering fans up-close performances from names like Andrew Swift, Catherine Britt, Wade Forster, Abbie Ferris, Hurricane Fall and Bella Mackenzie. Special one-show-only appearances from James Johnston and Kaylee Bell are also locked in.

With both stages supported by Toyota and backed by Destination NSW, festival organisers say the expanded program reflects the city’s commitment to spotlighting both established and emerging talent.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 16 - OPENING CONCERT

Join thousands of festivalgoers at the Opening Concert as we officially launch the 2026 Festival. The lineup features a range of 2025 Golden Guitar winners including Zac & George, Ashleigh Dallas, Brendan Radford & Lindsay Waddington, Kristy Cox, Luke O’Shea, plus the 45th Toyota Star Maker Felicity Kircher, 2025 Best of the Buskers Champions, Charley Castle and The Boys in the Well and Golden Gig senior winner Ava Bizzanelli

SATURDAY, JANUARY 17 - GIRLS’ NIGHT OUT

It’s been a landmark year for six-time Golden Guitar winner Amber Lawrence, marked by incredible growth, international recognition and powerful new music. Now, the country star is back to host the Girls’ Night Out, joined by three of Australian country music’s rising talents: Abbie Ferris, Jay Santilli and Tori Darke.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 18 - 46th TOYOTA STAR MAKER

It’s one of the most exciting and highly anticipated events on the Australian country music calendar. the annual Toyota Star Maker competition showcases extraordinary new talent. The winner receives a range of prizes and career-boosting opportunities designed to elevate their professional journey. The 2026 Toyota Star Maker winner will join alumni like Keith Urban, Lee Kernaghan, Travis Collins, James Blundell, Beccy Cole, Gina Jeffreys, Lyn Bowtell, Kirsty Lee Akers, and more recent success stories such as Brad Cox, Wade Forster, Max Jackson and Kaylee Bell. The Grand Final will see the top 10 finalists perform two songs, while 2025 winner Felicity Kircher will also take to the stage. The top 10 finalists are Bryce Sainty, Jarrad Wrigley, Jaydin Shingleton, Jess Crossman, Josie, Liam Maihi, Mackenzie Lee, Mackenzie May, Ruby Jane and Sarah Catania.

MONDAY, JANUARY 19 - AMERICANA IN THE PARK

Americana is a sub-genre growing in popularity within Australia. Songs usually combine elements of traditional Americana music with the familiar sounds of Aussie music. Americana In The Park will be hosted by Andrew Swift and feature performances from Lachlan Bryan and the Wildes, Riley Catherall, The High Street Drifters, Piper Butcher and The Rusty Pickups.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 20 - BANDS ON THE RUN

Every year, bands from all over Australia descend on Tamworth to play at the festival. 2026 is no different, with dozens of bands, with unique looks and sounds rolling in. This epic show will be hosted by Mike Vee and feature a range of bands and artists including, Kingswood, Will Day, The Mezcaltones and Jenny Mitchell.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 21 - BACK TO THE BUSH SPECTACULAR

Proudly presented by S Kidman this very popular evening’s entertainment draws together the best Australian Bush Balladeers with over 30 performers. The event is hosted by Dianne Lindsay and Peter Simpson.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 22 - KIX LIVE IN THE PARK

Don't miss the biggest and loudest night in the park, hosted by Justin Thomson. Get ready to dance up a storm with Casey Barnes, Lane Pittman, Rachael Fahim, Tyla Rodrigues, Mack Geiger and Briana Dinsdale

FRIDAY, JANUARY 23 - SOUNDS OF TWILIGHT

Enjoy more bands on the run with the Sounds of Twilight.  Settle in for easy listening with Matt Ward, country rockers Brewn, the alternate bush sounds of Magpie Diaries, and Denvah with her band. 

SATURDAY, JANUARY 24 - PARTY IN THE PARK

Get your dancing shoes and join Katie-Jayne, Brother Hollow, The Buckleys, and The Wet Whistles for a fun-filled evening, hosted by Mike Vee.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 25 - TOYOTA BEST OF THE BUSKERS

Busking is an iconic part of the Toyota Tamworth Country Music Festival, where performers of all ages have a chance to sing to thousands of festivalgoers who wander Peel Street. Across the 10-days, a secret panel of judges select 10 buskers to compete in the Best of the Buskers concert and competition.

Celebrate the buskers and complete the evening with a spectacular fireworks display to close out the Festival.
