Thomas Rhett and wife expecting their fourth daughter!

Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren Akins are pregnant with their fourth child! The What's Your Country Song singer revealed the exciting news on social media, after making the official announcement live during a show in Fort Worth, Texas on Sunday, May 9.

“Well... we are pregnant again!” he wrote. “Tonight when I was on stage in Fort Worth about to play ‘to the guys that date my girls’ my wife talked to me in my (ear monitors) and said ‘you can tell them if you want’ so anyways, now you know. We are pumped to be having our 4th girl ???. Feel free to buy all the merch you want, knowing that all the proceeds are going straight to all these weddings I’ll be paying for one day! Love you so much @laur_akins we always wanted a big thanksgiving table ?.”

Akins also shared the news on her own Instagram.

She captioned, “SURPRISE!!” he just couldn’t wait any longer, so @thomasrhettakins told our newest little secret onstage at @billybobstexas in Ft. Worth (my mama’s hometown) just in time for Mother’s Day ?: Akins family expanding in November 2021 with our FOURTH baby girl ????.”

The childhood sweethearts got married back in 2012, and are already parents to three daughters: Willa Gray (whom they adopted from Uganda), 5, Ada James, 3 and Lennon Love, 1.

In an recent interview with ET, the 31-year-old opened up about the emotional and personal song, To The Guys That Date My Girls off his latest album, Country Again: Side A.

"I was riding around with a buddy of mine from Charleston in Nashville about a one year and a half ago and we were just talking... about that whole perspective from the dad, being like what would you say to that person? What would you say to the guy who came up to your door, 'Hey, I'm here to take your daughter on a date.' Like, are you gonna be the real tough dad? Are you gonna be the dad who invites him in for coffee? Like which kind of version are you going to be?" he reflected. "This [song] is kind of like a rough draft of a letter that I kind of felt like things a guy would need to know when you come over to my house to pick up one of my daughters for the first time."

Fellow country singer-songwriter, RaeLynn is also pregnant with a daughter. The Voice alum recently shared the news on her 27th birthday, that she and husband Josh Davis are expecting their first child, due in September.

Speaking with People, she said, "Every year is special in its own way, but what's going to make my 27th year on this earth so special is that I get to be a momma to a beautiful baby girl. So that's why I wanted to wait because it's the best birthday present!"

On Mother’s Day, she shared a new song that she wrote for her unborn daughter (listen here). The song, which RaeLynn co-wrote with songwriters Drew Kennedy and Ben Stennis, details the intimate first moments when the singer-songwriter realised she was going to be a parent.

She shared on Instagram, " When I watched those to pink lines arrive that Wednesday afternoon. It went from me just being me to me being me and you and baby I just smile think bout your little eyes looking into mine it’s crazy how it’s like. Like I already met ya, already held ya, I knew that I loved you before I could tell ya. It was written in the stars it was tattooed on my heart you were always meant to be the one MADE FOR ME TO LOVE ... Wrote this when BB girl was 8 weeks in my belly. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms and expecting moms."

Granger Smith and wife Amber are also expecting their fourth child, and have been candid about their struggles with IVF following the death of their son, River. The baby boy is due in August.
