The Countrytown Hot 50 has started the year with the Aussies back in charge as The Wolfe Brothers jump back into the top spot, knocking off Jordan Davis and Luke Bryan after just one week at #1. The boys have had an on-again off-again relationship with the summit, toppling and being toppled by Casey Barnes and Keith Urban, but it seems that the Wolfe Brothers have had the staying power to welcome in the new year as the kings.
It's been a huge week for James Johnston, welcoming his new baby to the world and on the chart he's jumped up to the #3 position, stalking the top spot where he's in with a real chance next week. Congratulations on the new arrival James! We predict James has a massive year ahead of him..... in more ways than one!

There's been very little movement around the rest of the chart as radio playlists go into holiday mode, although there's been a few notable re-entries, with Michael Carpenter and The Bank Brothers reaching a new peak as they jump back into the list at #30 with 'Where My Heart Used To Be' and Tania Murray also hits her highest ever position with 'Follow Me Down To The River'. There's also re-entries from favourites Elle King, Chris Young & Kane Brown, Dierks Bentley, Dylan Scott and more.
