Special Guests Announced For Tyler Childers' 2025 Australian Tour
Seven of Tyler Childers' upcoming Australian tour dates are sold out.

American country singer and songwriter Tyler Childers is heading to Australia in February 2025. As of this week, we now know who will be opening for the artist on his tour.
Childers, who begins his tour at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Thursday, 6 February, continues his run with sold-out shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Bryon Bay, Canberra, Korumburra, and Melbourne and additional shows in Newcastle, Adelaide, and Perth.
Throughout the tour, Childers will welcome six special guests in different cities: Willi Carlisle, S.G. Goodman, Tommy Prine, James Ellis & The Jealous Guys, Carla Geneve, and The Bures Band.
On social media yesterday (28 November), Ellis said of his addition to the tour, “Wow, we’re so excited to be supporting @timmytychilders and @s.g.goodman at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl next February.
“That venue is so special, not just because of its size. Over 20 years ago, @joeyjojoe and I were at a Nick Cave gig there, and two of the supports for that wonderful show - @nekocaseofficial and @casadecalexico - made me interested in country music for the first time in my life. That started my journey into country music. Now, to follow that journey onto the very stage where it all began for me is not something I ever thought I’d have the chance to do.

“Also, the show is sold out and I missed out on tickets so I’m happy just to get into the gate.
“Thanks in particular to @lovepolice for making this happen.”
Western Australian singer-songwriter Carla Geneve, fresh off opening for Troy Cassar-Daley in Perth, added: “Supporting @timmytychilders at Kings Park in Feb, absolutely huge news. Also playing are @bures_band imo some of the best music coming out of Perth at the moment. Wearing @thesouthernriverband for @ausmusictshirtday. Rock on, see ya there.”
