Shaboozey is continuing to build anticipation for his next album, dropping infectious new single Cowgirl alongside a cinematic music video starring Summer House personality Ciara Miller.

The track marks the latest preview of The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales, the genre-bending artist's upcoming concept album due for release on July 31.

Following the release of Born To Die earlier this year, Cowgirl offers another glimpse into the ambitious project, while showcasing a slightly different side of Shaboozey's songwriting.

Driven by a catchy hook and plenty of swagger, Cowgirl leans into the larger-than-life energy that has helped make Shaboozey one of country music's most exciting crossover stars.

But it's the accompanying music video that is already turning heads.

Starring Summer House fan favourite Ciara Miller, the Western-inspired clip brings another chapter of the album's central storyline to life. Miller steps into the world of Cherie Lee, the tragic heroine at the centre of Shaboozey's forthcoming concept album, helping transform the song into something that feels more like a movie than a traditional music video.

The visual serves as another piece of the puzzle leading up to The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales, a cinematic outlaw revenge story that Shaboozey has spent years developing.

The album follows Cherie Lee after she witnesses the murder of her sheriff father at the hands of the notorious Bootcut Boys. Abandoning the life she once knew, she embarks on a quest for revenge, hunting the gang down one by one. Along the way she falls in love with one of the outlaws she is meant to destroy, creating a tragic story built around revenge, redemption and impossible choices.

It's an ambitious concept and one that further highlights Shaboozey's reputation as both a songwriter and storyteller. While many artists use albums to collect songs together, The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales appears to be building an entire world.
