Sam Hunt and His Pregnant Wife Call Off Divorce

Sam Hunt’s pregnant wife of five years, Hannah Lee Fowler, has asked a judge to dismiss her application to divorce Hunt amid speculation they are giving their marriage another try.

The news comes a week after Hunt was spotted wearing his wedding ring again while on stage in Florida, while witnesses in Franklin, Tennessee, also reported seeing the pair walking their dog together. It is believed they have decided to give their marriage another try as they prepare to welcome their baby girl into the world later this month.

In February, TMZ reported that Fowler had submitted documents to end her marriage to the 37-year-old country singer-songwriter on Friday, February 18 in Tennessee. In the court documents, she alleged that Hunt was "guilty of inappropriate marital conduct" and had also been unfaithful.

Fowler later withdrew the paperwork just hours later, but then refiled the petition in a different county in Tennessee after getting the jurisdiction wrong.

While the couple hadn’t publicly announced they were expecting a baby, Fowler’s documents noted she is due to give birth in May and had asked to be named the primary residential guardian of their child. She also requested child support and “transitional alimony, rehabilitative alimony and alimony in [the] future.”

Hunt and Fowler first began dating in 2008. They wed in his native Cedartown, Georgia in April 2017, a few months after getting engaged and after dating on and off for years. In July 2021, Hunt told Audacy’s TC & Dina that he and Fowler were trying for a baby.

He said, “We’ve really started thinking about it seriously here these past few months, so that’s on the agenda right now, and I’m hoping that we’ll have some good news sooner than later."
