More Mackenzie May More Mackenzie May

One of Central Queensland’s brightest rising stars, Mackenzie May, is back with her third and most self-assured single yet. Out today I’ll Take It All is a powerful country anthem that marks an exciting new chapter for the 19-year-old singer-songwriter, following the success of her earlier tracks Little Things and Old School Kind of Love.

It’s already been a big year for May, who recently picked up the Youth Award at the Queensland Music Awards and played her second Tamworth Country Music Festival. Now she’s getting ready to take I’ll Take It All on the road, with more shows planned across Australia throughout 2025.

The track sees May levelling up her sound and songwriting, reuniting with producer Jared Adlam (James Johnston, Lee Kernaghan) while also drawing inspiration from new songwriting collaborations. The result is a gritty, heartfelt track that’s both raw and empowering.

“This one’s about embracing every part of life - the chaos, the calm, the heartbreak, the beauty,” May shares. “It’s me saying: don’t just give me the easy parts, I want it all.”

That hunger for real, honest storytelling has been shaping her recent creative path. Influenced by artists like Lucinda Williams and Kacey Musgraves, May is clearly carving out a sound that’s truly her own, grounded in country roots but open-hearted and fresh.

Her first two singles picked up strong support from ABC Country, KIX Country, and Capital Country Radio, and clocked over 350,000 streams. But I’ll Take It All feels like something more, a moment of growth, grit, and a clear sign that Mackenzie May is just getting started.
