Rick Price Announces Australian Tour

Australian singer-songwriter and producer Rick Price is coming home for a national tour.

Announcing a string of dates taking place from September through to November, Price has also hinted at some extra dates to come, making his Hometown tour even more exciting for fans.

“So excited about my Hometown Tour of Australia coming up,” Price wrote on Facebook yesterday (29 July). “Looking forward to visiting some of my favorite [sic] towns and venues in Australia. Also, I’ll be adding some more dates soon.

Price’s upcoming Australian tour will take place in regional and metro locations, visiting the likes of Nambour, Brisbane, Melbourne, the Hunter Valley, Wollongong, Orange, Margaret River, Fremantle, and more. For this tour, Price will be playing shows in support of his latest EP, Wayfaring Stranger, released in September 2023. The EP found the Australian star working with American legends of soul and blues, including Tom Bukovac on guitar, Dennis Crouch on bass, Jimmy Wallace on organ/piano and Joshua Hunt on drums.

This year, Price is set to release a new album entitled Hometown. Marking his 12th studio album, the LP will be his first full-length of original material since 2015’s Tennessee Sky.

An Australian music legend, Price is best known for his 1992 debut album, Heaven Knows, and the track of the best name. In his career, Price has worked with an abundance of artists, including Tommy Emmanuel, Tina Arena, Jack Jones, and more.
