Raechel Whitchurch and husband Ben are now parents of five, after their new twin boys made a safe but dramatic entrance into the world.

Raechel Whitchurch has shared joyful news this morning, announcing the arrival of her twin boys in a heartfelt post. After stepping back from the online world for some much needed rest, Whitchurch returned with an update.
“Hello friends, I’ve been enjoying some much-needed time at home and off social media, but I wanted to let you know that @benwhitchurch and I had a beautiful surprise earlier this year, and 5 weeks ago we welcomed TWIN BOYS into our already large family. Very grateful for the 5 kids we’ve been given” she wrote.
The twins Waylon Keith Owen Whitchurch and Weston David Leslie Whitchurch were born on Friday, 24 October with Waylon arriving first at 2.9kg, followed by Weston 20 minutes later at 3.4kg.
“Both me and the babes were fine and healthy and able to go home the next day.” she shared after revealing both babies were born breeched.
Friends and artists were quick to jump into the comments leaving well wishes and support. Dylan Wright commented “Incredible! Much love”, Cass Hopetoun added “You are incredible!! Twins and breech! I’m in awe. congrats girl xxxx”and Fanny Lumsden perfectly summed it up “We loveeeeeee! You’re a weapon.”

Whitchurch is known for pairing her honest songwriting with the grounded stories of her rural upbringing and has long been open about family life, but five children will no doubt mark a new chapter even for a superwoman like her.
Whitchurch also hinted that while she’s heading “back into the baby bubble” for now, music remains on the horizon: “I will reemerge as the songs arrive to share them with you all”
