Niko Moon has reportedly been sued by his former publicist, Zack Teperman.

TMZ reports that Teperman claimed that Moon allegedly deliberately left him out of a lucrative business deal.

Teperman is reportedly suing Moon for “breach of contract,” saying that the country singer had the public reputation and means to promote lucrative projects, while Teperman has contacts that would have gotten the business deal off the ground.

Adding that the pair were allegedly partners throughout a deal with Happy Himalayan Water Company (“from the taste of the water to the design of the bottle”), Teperman claimed that he and Moon agreed that he would receive 10% in profit interest in the company, which would go up by 1% annually and cap at a 15% profit share.

According to evidence seen by TMZ, Moon allegedly described Teperman as his “partner” in emails when communicating about the Happy Himalayan business.

However, Teperman alleges that Moon terminated the reported partnership and instead embarked on solo business ventures. Teperman states that Moon’s alleged cutting him off happened less than two weeks after he and the singer reportedly agreed to the financial arrangement.

TMZ reports that Teperman is requesting $1 million in damages. Niko Moon hasn’t yet shared a statement about Teperman reportedly suing him.

Earlier this month, Niko Moon released his new EP, These Are The Nights. A four-song collection about the singer’s life on the road and themes of simplicity, joy, and living in the moment, Moon said of the release: “This EP is about slowing down and soaking in the things that make life sweet.

“These songs were written during my THESE ARE THE DAYS tour, and they reflect that energy of being on the road and the appreciation I have for the simple moments. I’m so excited for fans to hear these tracks and connect with the messages behind them.”
