As season 25 of The Voice US wraps up, plans for season 26 are already falling into place, with new Coaches announced for the upcoming season.
Country music icon Reba McEntire returns for her third season in a row, and Gwen Stefani comes back after a brief hiatus. Joining them are first-time Coaches Snoop Dogg and swing music legend Michael Bublé.
Snoop Dogg’s addition to the Coaches line-up comes after the recently announced new album by Tha Dogg Pound, We All We Got, arrives on Friday, 31 May. The album was executive produced by Snoop Dogg and drops via Death Row Records.
In a statement, Bublé has been welcomed as “an unstoppable talent”, via US Weekly, thanks to his “world-class showmanship”, “singular style” and “vocal power” to the diverse season 26 judging panel. “He is a friend of ‘The Voice,’ having served as a season 3 advisor to Team Blake [Shelton].”
Welcoming Snoop Dogg, the statement continued, “Already known as Coach Snoop in the world of sports, he now takes his skills from the field to the Voice stage. An industry mogul and globally recognised innovator, Snoop Dogg taps into his extensive work in music and unique approach as an entertainer to bolster the competition. He previously took the reins as season 20 mega mentor.”

Gwen Stefani first appeared on the long-running reality singing competition’s seventh series and has appeared in multiple seasons since then, meeting her husband and former Coach Blake Shelton on the show.
The Voice season 26 is set to premiere later this year.
Gwen Stefani recently made headlines when her band, No Doubt, returned to the stage after a lengthy hiatus at this year’s Coachella.
No Doubt opened their Coachella set with Hella Good before ripping into their greatest hits, including Ex-Girlfriend, It’s My Life, Just A Girl, Don’t Speak, Hey Baby and more. Plus, they were accompanied by Olivia Rodrigo for a rendition of their 2000 track Bathwater.
Before the festival performances, Stefani discussed the hardships of being a mum in a band and her regrets about keeping No Doubt going while raising young children.
Meanwhile, on The Voice Australia, Guy Sebastian is now the sole remaining coach from last year’s season (and since 2019). This year, he’ll be joined by Australian star Kate Miller-Heidke and two powerhouse American singer-songwriters, Adam Lambert and LeAnn Rimes. Host Sonia Kruger remains on board in 2024.
