America's NEEDTOBREATHE have dropped the first taste of their upcoming album Caves, with a clip for the epic Everknown. The narrative clip explores the impact of a janitor, chef, coach and teacher on a child's education showing that small actions can make a huge difference. The track is an arena-ready banger that stands tall in the band's already large catalogue.
“Everknown is a song inspired by those in our lives that have helped shape us into the people we are today,” said NEEDTOBREATHE.
"We wanted to dedicate it to the humble heroes. To the people who work day in and day out to make the world around them better and expect nothing in return. We too often get caught up in our own day to day lives and stresses to lift these people up and show them how thankful we are."
The track is the first taste of the band's ninth album Caves which lands later this year. The band are confident that this is their best work yet, telling American Songwriter that the album "Feels like a Joshua Tree for us."
The band have steadily grown their Australian fan base since visiting for a successful tour back in 2015. The band's single Brother with Gavin DeGraw made an impact downunder (as well as cracking the Billboard Hot 100), before their 2016 album Hard Love had its ARIA albums chart top 50 breakthrough. Their 2021 collaboration with Carrie Underwood, I Wanna Remember saw them crack the Countrytown chart for the first time, showing their country crossover appeal.
