Morgan Evans is optimistically looking to what’s ahead with his new track On My Own Again, set for release on Friday, March 17.

Written by Evans alongside Zach Kale, Geoff Warburton and producer Chris DeStefano, the song follows his viral single Over For You, his most personal song to date about his divorce from fellow country music singer-songwriter, Kelsea Ballerini.

Evans recently shed more insight behind Over For You with his five-part documentary series. Directed by Peter John, the docuseries brings viewers backstage and back home where Evans grew up. Each episode takes you along his musical journey in Australia and New Zealand, including CMC Rocks QLD Festival, where he debuted the single for 22,000 people. The CMC Rocks performance received hundreds of thousands of views on social media. In response, Over For You – Live in Melbourne was then recorded and released.

Evans also released the music video for Over For You, also directed by Peter John, captured in tandem with the documentary.

While performing Blindsided during her recent Saturday Night Live debut, Ballerini added a new verse to the end of the song, and its words are a direct response to Over For You, which Evans released shortly after they announced their intention to divorce after almost five years of marriage.

"Now you're singing it loud on the radio / You couldn't say it to my face / You would have searched the whole world over? / Yeah, sure, okay," Ballerini sings in the new lyrics, which come at the end of the song. "Now you're singing it loud on the radio / Like you're the only heart that breaks / You would have searched the whole world over? / Yeah, sure, okay."

The line references Evans lyrics: “How long have you been waiting to take our pictures down / How long have you been breaking, why am I just finding out / I would have searched the world all over for you / Took a flight through the night to be that shoulder for you / I would have let go if you wanted me to / How many times did you say ‘I love you’ when it wasn’t true.”

Following her performance, Ballerini released new t-shirts that feature the words “Yeah. Sure. Okay.” via her official merchandise shop.

The tan t-shirt features the phrase in bold black text on the chest while Ballerini’s name is on the back of the neck. The shirt retails for $35 and are available to purchase here.
