Morgan Evans is officially stepping into his next era. Virgin Music Group, who boast an incredible roster of artists including Kip Moore, just announced they’re partnering with the Aussie country star for the next phase of his career.
The first single out of this new chapter Beer Back Home is dropping on October 10. An album isn’t far behind apparently with Evans planning to release a full project in early 2026.
"I’m stoked to partner with Virgin Music Group on this record,” said Evans. “They’ve built a global team that gets Nashville, Europe, Australia, and they get me. The industry’s changing fast, but their model keeps artists in control, especially creatively. I couldn’t be prouder of this new music or more excited to share it with the world alongside the legends at VMG. Let's go!”

Beer Back Home was recorded in Nashville and co-produced by Evans himself along with Todd Clark. The title hints at a theme that’s both grounded and homespun, a little bit of wanderlust mixed with that pull toward familiar places, which is exactly the tension Morgan does well. Underneath his globally appealing country sound, there’s still undeniable Aussie coastal roots, reminding listeners where he came from even as he reaches higher.
“Morgan is an artist dedicated to the continued growth of his loyal fanbase and country music around the world,” says Jen Bontusa, SVP of Label Management for Virgin Music Group. “The Virgin Music Group global team will play an important role in helping to expand that fanbase with an incredible collection of new music. We can’t wait to get started.”
He’ll debut Beer Back Home live with a full band - and likely preview a few more tracks from the upcoming album - when he hits Australia in February for Howlin’ Country in his hometown of Newcastle. The stacked line up includes Lainey Wilson, Flatland Calvary and Kaitlin Butts to name a few, expect that energy to hit a new level when Evans is back on home soil.
