Mitchell Tenpenny is the latest country to join the “Naughty List”, with his 11-song new album set for release on October 29.
There’s another country album to add to your holiday playlist this year! A week after Brett Eldredge, Brett Young and Pistol Annies all announced they have festive albums on the way (not to forget, Josh Turner’s King Size Manger s out now!), Mitchell Tenpenny is the latest country to join the “Naughty List”, with his 11-song new album set for release on October 29.
Produced by Tenpenny, Jordan M. Schmidt and Lindsay Rimes, Naughty List contains all seven tracks from Tenpenny’s 2020 EP, Neon Christmas, as well as four additional tracks, including two originals co-written by Tenpenny titled Don’t Hang The Mistletoe and I Hope It Snows.
Tenpenny says, “I love all Christmas music. It always brings me back to my childhood and sharing the holidays with my family. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas is probably my favourite of all time. Makes me think of sitting by the fire and watching Christmas movies. But I love I was able to write a few new songs that are included too!”
Naughty List follows Tenpenny’s Midtown Diaries, which was released last month. The EP contains his inspirational previous single, Bucket List, the critically praised, To Us It Did as well as his current single, Truth About You, which was his largest streaming debut to date, garnering 2.5 million streams in its first three days of release.
