Melody Moko To Launch Parenting Podcast
Parenting Done Rightish is coming soon!
Melody Moko is soon to launch a new parenting podcast titled Parenting Done Rightish, alongside Kat Taylor, who has more than 91,000 followers on TikTok at flyyoufool8.
Moko shared the exciting news on her social media, she captioned, “bringing you the wailing, failing and nailing of parenting with “parenting done rightish” coming atcha soon!”
In the video, she says, “I love projects… and I wanted to tell you about one that I have coming up, which I’m so excited about. It is a podcast on one of my very favourite subjects – parenting.”
Moko continues, “And I have a fantastic sidekick, her name is Kat. She is a legend. She is a gen x queen. She is fucking hilarious! And you are gonna love this podcast, I am sure of it!”

Moko shares three children with husband, Michael Moko – her youngest Maisy, was born in March 2021. Taylor also has a young daughter as shared in a recent TikTok video.
“When we are young, it’s hard to express ourselves with who we are becoming and who we want to be whilst keeping within our young age groups,” Taylor shared. “It’s so important as parents that we find healthy and age-appropriate ways to do this. We need to allow our little people to feel in control of their development and growth within safe and wholesome environments. “
As well as the new podcast, Moko released her first live digital album, Melody Moko Live, last week, July 1. The eight-track project, recorded at The Triffid in Brisbane last year between lockdowns, captures an intimate acoustic performance of Moko and Michael.
Melody Moko Live follows 2020’s Two Kids And A Radio, which entered the ARIA Australian Country Albums Chart at #1, #3 ARIA Country Albums, #9 ARIA Australian Albums and #1 AIR 100% Independent Albums. It also earned a ‘Alt Country Album of The Year’ nomination at the 2021 Golden Guitar Awards, when Moko was awarded the award for ‘New Talent of The Year’.
Moko recently dropped the eighth single off the album. Save Me Rock N’ Roll tells the story of a musician, who constantly feels they are falling short regardless of working themself to the bone.
