Megan Moroney has officially announced her highly anticipated third studio album, Cloud 9, due out February 20, 2026. The multi-platinum star dropped the news alongside pre-orders for a signature-pink vinyl edition..
“I am so excited for my fans and I to dive into this new world of Cloud 9 together,” Moroney shared. “Similar to the first two albums, it’s all written about honest, personal experiences, but these songs were written by the strongest, most confident version of myself I’ve ever been. My feet feel firmly planted in my artistry and it was fun to play around sonically, while still sticking to my roots of what my fans and I love. Cloud 9 is a state of mind, and I have no doubt this will be the best chapter yet.”
Over the weekend, Moroney traded in her bold blue, signalling the end of her Am I Okay? Era, for the signature pink hue that defines Cloud 9. Fans caught the first glimpse of this new aesthetic when she released a teaser video drenched in shades of pink, setting the internet buzzing about what’s next for one of country music’s most talked about artists.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of her sold out AM I OKAY? TOUR, which wrapped last month before Moroney headed down under for her first ever headline Australian shows. Her final performance of 2025, a headlining slot at Melbourne’s Ridin’ Hearts Festival, hinted at the new era to come, as she took the stage in a baby pink dress that now feels symbolic of Cloud 9. Moroney shared the stage with Avery Anna for a confetti filled duet of the last song Am I Okay?, marking a fitting close to one era and the start of another.
Cloud 9 will include her latest hits Beautiful Things and 6 Months Later, both already making waves across charts and playlists. With her signature mix of vulnerability, strength and southern sass, which is now a sort of trademark for Moroney, Cloud 9 is shaping up to be a defining moment for the Georgia native, one that feels every bit as confident, colorful, and self-assured as its aesthetic.
