The world’s best barbecue and country music will collide once again as Meatstock 2026 gets set to take over Toowoomba (April 10-11) and Gippsland (April 17-18) serving up two jam packed weekends of live music, smoky meats and high energy competitions that celebrate everything country fans love.

This year’s festival is turning up the heat with a stacked Jack Daniel’s Live Stage lineup that blends Nashville stars with homegrown favourites.

“Meatstock is truly the perfect opportunity to celebrate and highlight country music. This is where the best of Nashville meets our local legends for a weekend of smoke, songs, and unbeatable energy,” says Jay Beaumont, Director of Meatstock.

Leading the 2026 lineup is Australian country powerhouse Morgan Evans, returning home for what promises to be a stand out performance. Known for his heartfelt songwriting and good time energy, Evans will headline alongside US hitmaker Bryan Martin, whose raw storytelling resonated with Australian fans at CMC Rocks in 2024. Joining them is rising US artist Chase Matthew, who recently completed an Australian tour with Keith Urban, he will be bringing a fresh, hip-hop inspired edge to his country sound.

The weekend will also feature performances from local favourites The Wolfe Brothers, Max Jackson, Rachael Fahim, and Briana Dinsdale on Friday, while Saturday’s lineup includes Austin Williams (USA), Lane Pittman, Hayley Jensen, Denvah, and Abbie Ferris.

But Meatstock has never been just about the music. The festival remains a full-blown celebration of barbecue, craftsmanship and community. Drawing in pitmasters, musicians, and fans from across Australia and beyond.

In the Heat Beads BBQ Wars, top grillers will face off for the ultimate bragging rights across every protein category. Meanwhile, the Butcher Wars return with lightning fast carving and precision skills on full display. Fans can also catch crowd favourites like the Beard & Mo Wars, Australia’s Strongest Man and Woman, arm-wrestling competitions, and the always intense Sausage Sizzle Throwdown.

“Meatstock is more than barbecue and music. It’s a community of like-minded people, all driven by the same burning passion for the craft of barbecue and the culture that comes with it. From families camping on site to mates reuniting over the grill, the energy is always unmatched,” says Beaumont.

And for those looking for a break from the smoke and music, there’s plenty more to explore from the sprawling BBQ Expo and onsite tattoo station, to adrenaline fueled action courtesy of the Professional Bull Riders.

Whether you’re camping under the stars or checking into a cosy B&B, Meatstock 2026 is the ultimate regional escape - a weekend of great food and great tunes, you won’t want to miss.
