Just over three-and-a-half years after he first released it, Riley Green has shared a new version of Different ‘Round Here – the title track from his debut album – featuring none other than Luke Combs.

Posting about the duet on Instagram, Green thanked Combs for teaming up with him, saying their collaboration has “been a long time comin’”. The song itself is largely the same as the 2019 original, however Combs adds a unique flair to the mix. He sings the second verse in place of Green, while the pair join forces to sing the final chorus.

You can have a listen to both the new and original versions of Different ‘Round Here below.

Different ‘Round Here (the album) was released in September 2019, and featured three singles: There Was This Girl, In Love By Now and I Wish Grandpas Never Died. It was well-received, peaking at #95 on the Billboard 200 chart in the US, and at #11 on the accompanying Top Country Albums chart.

Green has thus far followed the album up with two EPs, first dripping If It Wasn’t For Trucks in September 2020, then Behind The Bar in July 2021.

Meanwhile, Combs has made several headlines in May, mostly thanks to his friendship with Ed Sheeran. Following their joint appearance at this year’s ACM Awards – where Combs was nominated for a total of four awards (but sadly won none of them) – the country music star taught Sheeran how to shotgun a beer, and joined him for a new version of the song Life Goes On.
