Luke Combs was crowned ‘Country Artist of the Year’ for the fourth consecutive year at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards
The 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards celebrated the biggest and best in music over the last year across all genres on Tuesday, March 22. Hosted by American rapper and actor LL Cool J, the ceremony aired live out of The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Luke Combs was crowned ‘Country Artist of the Year’ for the fourth consecutive year. He beat out fellow nominees Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Jason Aldean. Other country artists nominated in non-country-specific categories who failed to take home wins included Kacey Musgraves, Zac Brown Band and Taylor Swift.
The show also featured performances from LL Cool J, Jennifer Lopez, Megan Thee Stallion, Aldean, John Legend and Charlie Puth, and 2021 Eurovision Song Contest winners, Måneskin.
