Lee Kernaghan will play an all-ages show this Easter, so if you’re not spending the day with family, why not head to the Sunshine Coast for an epic day out?

The inaugural Beers, Boots & BBQ festival will be launched at The Station SC in the Sunshine Coast suburb of Birtinya. The event will go down on Sunday, 20 April – Easter Sunday – with the fun beginning from 8 am.

Australian country music legend Lee Kernaghan will headline the all-ages, family-friendly event. Performing hits such as The Outback Club, Boys From The Bush, Spirit Of The Anzacs, and more, Kernaghan has won over fans from across generations.

For the upcoming festival, Kernaghan will be joined by Australian country artists, including Max Jackson, Andrew Swift, Billy Gudgeon, and Phoebe Rose.

Fans are encouraged to sign up for pre-sale tickets to score Early Bird ticket prices. You can sign up for pre-sale tickets here, which will be available on Thursday, 20 February, at 9 am AEST. Tickets to the general public will be available from 10 am AEST on Friday, 21 February. You can find more ticketing information on the Station SC website.

In addition to the music, Beers, Boots & BBQ will celebrate the region’s finest beers while punters dig into mouthwatering American BBQ, with slow-cooked ribs, smoked brisket, and other southern flavours on the menu.

Organisers also promise child-friendly activities to keep younger fans entertained throughout the day. While the markets and fun begin at 8 am, the festival is scheduled to run until 10 pm.

Kernaghan made news earlier this month due to his feature on the new track by The Wolfe Brothers, Country Is Coming To Town. He said of the collaboration: “It's been awesome to be back in the studio with my damn good mates, The Wolfe Brothers.

“I am really proud to have been a part of this collaboration on their new single, Country Is Coming To Town, from their forthcoming album. Looking forward to everyone hearing it on the radio and also playing it live with boys when we hit the stage together.”
