This past November, country music hitmakers Lee Kernaghan and The Wolfe Brothers celebrated an incredible 10 years of working together, performing their final show as a touring outfit in Hobart in what has been one of Australian country music’s most successful collaborations.

To focus on their upcoming album release and national tour, The Wolfe Brothers have handed the baton on to Newcastle hot shots, Hurricane Fall, who will be joining Kernaghan as touring partners for his 2023 festival and touring dates.

Kernaghan said, "It’s been an incredible decade writing, recording and touring with The Wolfe Brothers. There were a few tears and several Fireballs consumed after the last show in Tassie, but the overall feeling was one of immense gratitude for all the miles and music we’ve been fortunate enough to share together. Not only are Nick, Tom, Brodie and Casey my damn good mates, they’ll always be like family to me."

Looking back on the partnership, Tom Wolfe said, “Working with Lee has been the greatest honour for Nick and I and we can never repay him enough for being a major force behind launching our career on a national level.”

Nick Wolfe added “Ten years ago we were as green and inexperienced as a band can be but during our time with Lee, we not only learnt from the best, but he gave us ten years of amazing experiences and friendship that will never be forgotten.”

Hurricane Fall performed their very first show with Kernaghan at the inaugural Country Sounds Festival in Brunswick WA and received a huge welcome from the capacity Western Australia crowd.

Kernaghan said, “It’s the beginning of a new era. Jesse Vee, Pepper De Roy, Luke Wheeldon, Tim Hickey and Lachlan Coffey are powerhouse musicians and songwriters and on top of that they’re top-notch fellas. I’m super excited to be hitting the stage with the boys and the brand-new touring show.”

Kernaghan will be releasing a new album mid 2023 followed by a national tour.
