Australian country sensation Lane Pittman is gearing up to bring his signature energy to Brisbane, having just been confirmed as a support act for Nashville hitmaker Nate Smith on October 28 at The Tivoli. The exciting announcement was made last night as part of the sideshows tied to this year’s Ridin’ Hearts Festival.

Pittman is no stranger to the big stage. Since his breakthrough in 2022 on The Voice Australia, where his audition performance went instantly viral, he’s climbed the ranks fast. His authentic voice and compelling storytelling earned him a coveted spot opening for Luke Combs, not once but twice, during his sold-out 2023 and 2025 Australian and New Zealand tours, a springboard many artists would dream of securing.

In January 2025, Pittman won the Golden Guitar Award for New Talent of the Year, and Song of the Year for Amen For The Weekend at the inaugural Countrytown Awards. With a self-titled EP released earlier this year peaking top 10 on both the ARIA Country and Australian Artists Albums Charts. It’s a run that firmly cements Pittman as one of the most exciting new voices in Australian country music.

Now, Pittman will bring his high-voltage performance style and undeniable charm to Brisbane alongside Smith who himself is a breakout artist known for his gritty sound and chart-smashing tracks. Although the Brisbane show is already sold out. both Pittman and Smith will also appear at the Ridin’ Hearts Festival with Megan Moroney, Avery Anna, Waylon Wyatt and more, in Sydney and Melbourne.

For Pittman, this opportunity isn’t just another gig, it’s another leap forward. He’s built his career on authenticity and raw country charisma, performing across Australia as well as US festivals like CMA Fest, and supporting industry heavyweights.

Pittman’s combination of talent, authenticity, and stage experience, is cementing that he's not just opening shows, he’s opening the door to the next chapter of Australian country music.
